Since COVID-19’s impacts on the DMV region began in March, we’ve had to suspend our passenger service and use our vehicles entirely to serve the Arlington community during the COVID-19 outbreak. This has included deliverting more than 5000 lbs of food to AFAC in partnership Aurora Highlands, Crystal City and Ballston, and the “Buy a Nurse a Lunch” organized by CPRO. The safety of everyone is the community is our first priority. We’ve been honored to receive recognition as an Arlington Food Assistance Center 2020 Community Partner of the Year, CPRO’s 2020 Columbia Pike Spirit Award, and even from Senator Tim Kaine.
We are incredibly grateful and fortunate to receive support from our outstanding partners through this challenging time. Beyond our partnerships, much of our work has been conducted on a volunteer basis.
